Issue # 378 of White Dwarf has arrived. This month it previews the summer launch of the Warhammer Fantasy Battles expansion “Storm of Magic” along with a shelf full of new models representing the magic terrain, sorcerers and monsters usable in the new expansion. Warhammer 40,000 fans are not neglected as this issue also includes new Strategems, missions and updated rules for Cities of Death. Plus the usual columns!

Saturday, June 18th, at 1:00pm. Come celebrate the release of the latest Magic multi-player format with the Commander Launch Party. Entry fee is $35.00.
Players will receive their choice of Commander Decks from a pool of 20 (4 of each of the 5 decks) and the matching promo card. Decks are chosen at the time of sign-up and are on a first-come, first-served basis.
This event will run for 2 rounds of group play games.

The Event Decks have arrived. Each one has a 60-card main deck, a 15-card sideboard, spindown life counter, strategy insert, and “learn-to-play” Magic guide. The decks are standard legal and perfect for starting Friday Night magic.

Get ready for the 2011 ‘Ard Boyz tournament with the new Warhammer 40,000 League at Fantasy Games. League starts on Sunday, June 5th, at 1:00pm. Starting point value is 1,850.
This point value will increase to 2,000 on June 12, 2,250 on June 26th, and to 2, 500 for july 17th, 24th and 31st.
There will be no games on June 19th (Father’s Day), July 3rd (Independence Day weekend) and July 10th (M2012 pre-release).

This issue provides a thorough preview of the new Finecast range of miniatures (including unseen ones for Tomb Kings and Dark Eldar) due out this week and the new Dark Eldar plastic kits (your Ravenwing Jetfighter is confirmed). Despite the large model previews, there is still room for Tactica, Battle Reports, Standard Bearer and much more. $9.00 an issue.

The winner of this event may play in the SCG invitational the following weekend in Indianapolis or Dec 2010 in Charlotte, NC.
Entry fee $25.00. Format is Standard Constructed.
Sign-up before 11:50am. Play begins at 12:00pm.
Participants who sign-up after 11:50am will still be enrolled, but will receive a 1st round loss.
This event will be Swiss rounds based on attendance with a top 8 single elimination playoff.

With the release of New Phyrexia this weekend Fantasy Games will be hosting a series of events, some in celebration and some in intense competition. Take a look below for all the scheduled tournaments.
Thursday – Midnight Madness Launch Party. 11:45pm sign-up. Cards handed out at 12:01am. $15.00 entry fee. This is a Draft event. Pack mix is Scars x1 and New Phyrexia x2. This is the only event in which you can receive the launch card.
Friday Night Magic – Event 1 is our usual Standard Tournament. New Phyrexia is legal for play now and going forwards! Sign-up by 6:30pm. Entry fee is $3.00
Friday Night Magic – Event 2 is a Booster Draft. Sign-up by 6:30pm. Entry fee is $15.00. Pack mix is 1x Scars and 2x New Phyrexia.
Saturday – Our big competative event is the TCGPlayer.com Championship Qualifier. Standard Constructed format. Sign-up before 11:50pm. Play starts at 12:00 noon. Entry fee is $25.00. Please check the store calendar for prize details and restrictions.
