Fantasy Games is accepting applications for the following position:

• Part Time- Odd Jobs
(10-15 hours/week)

Requirements: Applicants must be:

•18 years of age or older.
•Must be available to work Mondays from Noon until 5:00PM, and Fridays from 11:00AM until 5:00PM. Also must be willing to work occasional weekends and holidays as needed.
•Willing to learn new games so as to be familiar with our products.
•Knowledgable of PCs, Windows, and MS Office applications such as Word and Excel.
•Strong in both verbal and written communication skills
•Able to work unsupervised.

Helpful, but not required:

•Strong mechanical aptitude.
•Familiarity with Magic: the Gathering, and other games.

Duties Include:

• Inventory tasks, such as sorting magic cards or stocking/checking shelves.
• Cleaning tasks such as dusting shelves, washing tables/windows, vacuuming floors and cleaning the bathroom.
• Light Maintenance jobs such as changing light bulbs, washing walls, painting walls, replacing furance filters, etc.
• Possibly filling in at the counter during busy times/special events.
• Helping Customers.
• Other Duties as assigned.

Saturday, January 28th
Afternoon Sealed Deck – Players seated and packs handed out at 12:30pm. Entry fee is $30.00
Evening Sealed Deck – Players seated and packs handed out at 6:30pm. Entry fee is $30.00

Sunday, January 29th
Afternoon Sealed Deck – Players seated and packs handed out at 12:30pm. Entry fee is $30.00
Evening Sealed Deck – Players seated and packs handed out at 6:30pm. Entry fee is $30.00

Sealed Deck Format
Players receive 3 packs of Innistrad and 3 packs of Dark Ascension. Tournaments run for 4 rounds. Anyone with a 3-1 or better record will receive additional booster packs as prizes.

Dark Ascension Preorders

Fantasy Games is now taking preorders for Dark Ascension. Our preorder price is $94.99. The first 20 customers to preorder will also receive a copy of the preorder card (1 per customer).

Last day for preorders is close of business of January 31st. Release date is February 3rd.

New Year’s Eve Hours

Fantasy Games will be open on Saturday, Christmas Eve, from 12:00 noon till 5:00pm. The store will be closed on Christmas Day. We’ll reopen at 12 noon on Monday.

Grand Prix Trial: Orlando

Format – Modern

Saturday, December 10th at 1:00pm

Entry fee is $10

Tournament will run a number of swiss rounds based on attendance, followed by a top 4 or 8 as needed.

The first round will start at 1pm.

Prizes will be the 3 round bye to GP:Orlando, and the top 4 by record after swiss will split the store credit.

Thanksgiving Day Hours

Fantasy Games will be closed November 24, Thanksgiving Day. We will have our normal events and store hours on Wednesday and Friday.

Reminder to Magic players who have Friday off, our Afternoon Friday Night Magic event is free and starts at 1:00pm!

Yu-Gi-Oh! Tournaments Start December 1st

Fantasy Games will begin running Yu-Gi-Oh! Tournaments on Thursday, December 1st. PLay begins at 6:30pm. Entry fee is $10.00. Top finishers will receive Turbo or booster packs based on the number of players. Please see the individual calendar listings for full details.
